Building Relationships

We believe BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS is the key to seeing communities transformed. Everything we do is centered around building relationships

  • Our definition - programs and events intentionally designed to foster relationships and trust while providing a service that address a specific barrier.

The model of Context for Relationships is crucial to Solidarity's mission of seeing community transformation. Without a baseline of authentic and vulnerable relationships, we recognize that investing in the mechanics of removing barriers will never create genuine transformation for a neighborhood. Every Solidarity program, neighborhood gathering, and strategic initiative are all intentionally designed to foster relationship building and trust.

Solidarity's CFRs contributed to growing assurance between neighbors, fostered mutuality between neighbors and volunteers/partners, and created connection with local representatives to the community.

The awareness of barriers inhibiting our neighbors from flourishing, combined with a deep foundation of relationship, allowed Solidarity to strategize on how we can actually address these barriers in a way that leads to community transformation.
