Job Title: Executive Director

How did you come to Solidarity? My friends Steve and Kevin decided to try and really follow Jesus, what else was I suppose to do?

What is your role at Solidarity? I am the Executive Director and my job is to follow Christ intimately, understand His scripture and lead Solidarity from that understanding towards the vision God has given me. To accomplish that my responsibilities are to empower my staff to live out their Christianity through Solidarity, raise the funds necessary for us to build the Kingdom, be the “face” of Solidarity and to make decisions based on what is best for God’s Kingdom not necessarily Solidarity, although they usually go hand in hand.

What is the best part of your role? When I am working with a Christian and they finally get that Jesus wants their whole life and then seeing that brother or sister be in deep relationships with those that do not know Jesus. Just watching God transform people is amazing.

Fun Stuff:

What is your favorite movie? Good Will Hunting

What reality TV show would you be on and why? I wouldn’t, I hate reality T.V.

Favorite place you have been and why?Secret Beach in Kauai. Rachael and I have been there several times, I feel connected to the island, my Mom is Filipino/Hawaiian. It is so peaceful and beautiful, absolutely relaxing.

Where is the next place you would like to go? Fiji

What makes you laugh/cry? My wife makes me laugh, she is hilarious. What makes me cry? Talking about how Jesus changes lives, if you have ever been to our annual breakfast you will know what I am talking about.

If you were a cartoon or a character in a book/movie/play, who would you be and why? I am not trying to sound spiritual but I would want to be King David. He was one baaaaad man! He was tough, artistic, passionate, broken, brave and powerful.  A man after God's own heart, that always gives me hope.
