Job Title: Development Coordinator How did you come to Solidarity? I've known about Solidarity since its inception, but my Senior year of college, I checked it out at the prodding of a friend and I never left! What is your role at Solidarity? I manage our unbelievably amazing staff and help Tommy stay sane while running a non-profit! What is the best part of your role? I love doing behind the scenes work and making Solidarity run like a well-oiled machine! What is your favorite movie? Oh there's so many...but 13 Going On 30 is timeless (I think I've watched it 900.5 times) and Miss Congeniality 2 ("Tina's of the world, unite!") is fun. And you can't forget about the classics- anything with Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day is amazing! What reality TV show would you be on and why? I love America's Next Top Model- it would be fun to get photographed looking fierce! And if The Office was a reality show, I'd be Pam. Favorite place you have been and why? One of them is England because of the beautiful countryside and the amazing history; I can't forget my family's hometown in the Applalachian mountains- gotta love that country cookin'! Where is the next place you would like to go? Eastern Europe (Spain, Italy, Prague) and South America. I also really really want to roadtrip from Maine all the way down to southern Florida. Any takers? What makes you laugh/cry? My brother makes me laugh like none other, and America's Funniest Videos is a close second. Also Erin Pifer is one funny cat! Almost anything makes me cry...yes, even that sappy commercial does the job. If you were a cartoon or a character in a book/movie/play, who would you be and why? Probably a character in a Jane Austen book/movie/play... so classic! I love that period, and I love the dresses! |
