Education: Currently enrolled at Hope International University in the Liberal Studies program (that means I'm going to teach elementary school) Hometown: Well, I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, but now I call Fullerton my home. Family: My dad Rod, mom Susie, brother Nate, and nephew Carter Hobbies: Is there a world outside of texts books and 3rd grade homework packets? Job Title: Office assistant How did you come to Solidarity? My long time friend Erin Pifer welcomed me to Hope and told me about this awesome organization that she was a part of. She was convinced that I would fit right in, so I decided to give it a try. Thanks Erin! What is your role at Solidarity? I get to help the people that make Solidarity so awesome. I also have been able to be a part of the Reading Program that is a new, specialized aspect of the After School Program. What is the best part of your role? It's a tie: I get to work with just about everyone on staff; and I get to spend time with some of the most amazing kids in Fullerton! Fun Stuff:
What is your favorite movie? Probably, Nacho Libre. "Get that corn outta my face!"
What reality TV show would you be on and why? "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" I would like that bragging right. Favorite place you have been and why? Germany. It's really the only place I've traveled to, but I loved the history, culture, food, and people. I can't wait to visit again! Where is the next place you would like to go? I don't care. I want to travel everywhere! What makes you laugh/cry? I have come to appreciate the humor of the awkwardfamilyphotos.com and a ridiculously cheesy joke. |
