I graduated from UC Irvine in 2003 with a B.A. in Social Ecology.  My parents currently reside in Diamond Bar, CA. I have one older brother who lives in Boston, MA with his wife. I lived in Austin, TX for nine years prior to moving to Diamond Bar, CA where I lived until college.  Currently I live next to the Garnet neighborhood in one of Solidarity’s intentional communities. I have the privilege of rooming with Will Kim and as house mates with Matt Stricker, Raphael Chan, and Tom Choe.

I came to Solidarity during a personally difficult season in my life in 2009. I was in the midst of dramatic transitions and needed an office space. The Solidarity staff graciously provided a work space for me and also became the community that I desperately needed during that challenging season. I was drawn deeper into the Solidarity community throughout 2010. I eventually joined staff at the beginning of 2011. Now I get to work with Kevin Mo-Wong under the Lifestyle Initiative.

What is your favorite TV show? I enjoy watching Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman.

What has Solidarity helped you discover about yourself? Solidarity helped me to experience value in my weakness and brokenness. I am understanding what it means to be a whole person by accepting my weakness and seeking how God loves me in my brokenness.

Describe Solidarity as “church”: Not the institutional church. Our core is relationship and community.

If Solidarity were a location in the world, where would it be? New Zealand
